Anselm 'Sam' Amiro
Sam Amiro began carving as a young boy in the 1930s and ‘40s in Yarmouth county, where he still resides. He continued working with wood as a carpenter in his adult life. Since retiring from his career, Sam has recommenced carving as a hobby, working mainly on birds and people.
