Larry Fancy
When Larry Fancy was growing up, his father moved his family to Milton, Nova Scotia, to a house across the road from folk artist Ralph Boutlier. His father, Raymond Fancy, picked up skills from him, and after watching his father, Larry began carving his own art in the 1980s. A dealer liked and bought his first carving, a small bird, and Larry has been carving and selling ever since, making regular appearances at the Lunenburg Folk Art Festival. His Wife, Joanne, also does folk art.
