Kyle Jackson

Kyle was born in Toronto, lived in San Francisco in the late ‘60’s, and later in The Hague before moving to Nova Scotia in the ‘80’s to attend art school. His interest in art was inspired by meeting Andy Warhol in Ontario in 1974.  In Halifax he co-owned and operated the Soho Kitchen, a restaurant - folk art gallery, for a number of years . He was also a co-founder of the annual Nova Scotia Folk Art Festival held in Lunenburg and remains an active member of the Nova Scotia art community.
